Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Label Master ("Label Master", "we", "us") for use of the Label Master service (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

2. The Service

Label Master monitors Microsoft 365 audit activity — including sensitivity label changes, external sharing, and guest activity — using a Microsoft Entra app registration that you create and control in your own tenant. The Service provides detection, risk scoring, alerting, and reporting.

The Service is a monitoring and alerting tool. It does not prevent data loss by itself, and it is not a substitute for your own security judgment, backups, or Microsoft Purview licensing obligations.

3. Accounts and security

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials, MFA devices, and Microsoft Entra app secrets confidential, and for all activity in your workspace.

You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.

4. Free trial and subscriptions

New workspaces receive a 14-day free trial with full features. At the end of the trial, continued access requires a paid subscription.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance through Paddle. Prices are shown on the pricing section of our website and may change with notice for future billing periods.

You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period. See our Refund Policy for details.

5. Acceptable use

You may use the Service only to monitor Microsoft 365 tenants you own or are authorized to administer.

You must not misuse the Service, attempt to access other customers' data, probe or disrupt our infrastructure, or use the Service in violation of applicable law or your agreements with Microsoft.

6. Your data

You retain all rights to the data retrieved from your Microsoft 365 tenant. You grant us the limited rights needed to store and process that data to provide the Service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Availability and changes

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice where the change is material.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that every label change or sharing event will be detected, as detection depends on Microsoft 365 audit log availability and your app registration's permissions.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Label Master's aggregate liability arising from these Terms or the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your workspace at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or unlawful use. On termination, your monitoring data is deleted in accordance with our retention practices.
